summer is nearly over…… and it was a hot one!
……both, a busy, yet still relaxing family time at the farm…….
…… we had a lot of guests…… family, friends, more than a dozen or so overseas travellers…… most of them from batlow and adelong/nsw, would you believe it?……..
and also quite a few collectors calling in……..
wait a minute, barbara and george, from canberra……!
barb grew up in glen collin – the property where these beautiful columnar basalts originate from, longtime friend and supporter jim young’s sister…….
….. so, made quite a few new sculptures…..
and another glen collin columnar…… she’s a beauty!…..
the only trip longer than an hours drive was for a quick visit to st. gilgen……
an early morning shot, thanks to fritz and the council gardening team maintaining and mowing around my sculptures in the seepark and elisabeth for hosting us……
i plan to travel to australia early november…….. too late to call in at the toorak sculpture exhibition in melbourne….. but you should!
my contribution, without intention, looks like an homage to the great edvard munch….
