it is andreas imagination and enthusiasm that allows him to create from a gnarled rock a wonderful sculpture that becomes a remarkable piece of art …....he is a gifted man!

if you ever see an austrian with a hammer and chisel……it is andreas. Usually a large number of rocks are following as the rocks find andreas not andreas  the rocks. the sculptural beautification is something the rocks seek; like a face lift or a quick cut and polish.

brad spalding, artist and distiller

there is something beautiful and mysterious about the stone sculptures of andreas buisman, it's often hard to see where the artist hand has intervened and what is nature's creation. it is this subtlety coupled with an elegant organic quality and the powerful materiality of stone that draws us to his artworks, imploring the viewer to run their finger down the ripples of the sculpture and stroke the highly polished surfaces.

andreas is a keen observer of natural systems and has a passion for expressing the wonder of earth’s underlying structures;
